The big buzz going around science and the media, is the story of the flipping magnetic field of our earth. Can our magnetic field actually flip and not harm us? Science has taken a bold step in saying that it will not. But when asked for actual evidence, the only thing they have to show for a pole reversal, are a few lava rocks that happen to have their poles reversed compared to what they should be. All of what they claim points to this, and nothing else. But because they have taken such a bold step, they are spending millions of dollars, and a whole lot of hours, to make sure no one can debunk what they claim. Problem is, there's a lot of stuff they are ignoring, because they have no answer, or the answer would be against what they claim.
1) Our earth is protected by our magnetic field. The sun produces what's called solar wind. This solar wind can strip away our atmosphere, but our magnetic field deflects it. The earth is just the right size, for this field to extend far enough into space, to deflect what would normally kill us. During the so called flip, our magnetic field strength would weaken. Science talks like they know just how much it would during this process, but they don't really know. Pin one down and ask for specifics, and you'll find them doing their best dance to answer your question. There are no magic numbers to work with. It is really a unknown.
The auroras that appear in our armosphere proves that the magnetic field of the earth is just barely strong enough to deflect these particles. A polar flip would actually kill all life on this planet.
2) Stationary magnets. The objects in the earth's crust are stationary, and magnetized in place. This includes mountains, and anything in the earth's crust that is magnetizable. These stationary magnets, help hold the magnetic field of our earth in place. If the poles flip, how would you get the objects in the earth's crust to flip also? Can you unmagnetize something naturally? Is there a process for this? Or, maybe the earth's crust will flip with it? I'm sure we would survive that, as we are flung into space.
3) The earth's crust. Having the poles to flip would also cause tremendous strain on the earth's crust. The stationary magnetized objects in the earth's crust, would either be pulled upon, or repelled. Can you say: "World wide earth quake"?
4) The moon's orbit. During this phase of a pole flip, the gravity of the earth may become weaker. They really can't say one way or another about this. If this should happen, it would affect the orbit of our moon. Our moon is essential for life on this planet. Anyone that knows anything about science will not disagree with that statement. But a moon that has a further orbit could not maintain the tilt of our axis, nor would it have the affect on our tides to clean our river, streams, and ocean. You can read about this here .
5) Earth's orbit. If the gravity of the earth is weakened, it will not only affect the moon's orbit, but it will affect the earth's orbit around the sun as well. A one degree change in closeness will burn us up, one degree in further away will freeze us to death. So how long our gravity is weak from this, will determine how these things will change.
6) Past polar flips. Science claims we have had past polar flips. Just because of a few lava rocks, and also because the sun flips it's poles every so many years. The sun is not a planet, so what it does is not going to be the same as our planet. But science will use that example anyway. They have even come up with a number for how many times it has flipped.
Our planet's magnetic field reverses about once every 200,000 years on average. However, the time between reversals is highly variable. The last time Earth's magnetic field flipped was 780,000 years ago, according to the geologic record of Earth's polarity. Reference: National Geographic.
Side note: I wonder why the flip is over due by almost 300,000 years? They seem to know so much about the flip, why can't the answer be given, instead of one that covers all bases (However, the time between reversals is highly variable.).
7) Polar drifts. It is said that the magnetic poles drift. Now this is conceivable because nothing inside the earth, or on the crust, is really held in place so well that it's not going to drift some what. In Europe, they say they have actually recorded this drift of the magnetic pole. But they really can't be sure how much it actually drifts.
8) Geodynamo. A theoretical phenomenon believed to generate and maintain Earth's magnetic field. So here we have one half of the puzzle that is not even understood? But yet they will base their polar flip theory on this? You see, they don't even know what generates our magnetic field. So this Geodynamo is just a guess. This one thing, proven totally wrong, would blow the polar flip theory right out of the water. And they can't even confirm it.?
9) Admitting what was denied in the past because it supports this theory today. For a long time, creationists have claimed the earth's magnetic field has been getting weaker. And this has been fought with come backs that this is a lie and that creationists were liars for even bringing it up. Funny how now that National Geographic is using this, are they lying too? Now for what is written even on the National Geographic website: And here we see it even on CNN. So have we exposed a lie? Or have we exposed a tactic that science now uses to discredit creation? Lie when it is convenient? Lie when it discredits creation?
Instabilities such as this, Olson added, are causing Earth's magnetic field to weaken. Today the field is about 10 percent weaker than it was when German mathematician Carl Friedrich Gauss first began measuring it in 1845. Some scientists speculate the field is headed for a reversal.
You can do the math. Example: Being weaker as we move forward in time, means it used to be stronger moving back in time. So let's subtract about 40 million years and see if life could have existed. A magnetic field that strong would kill all life as we know it (this maybe why the flip theory came out, so they could claim that our magnetic field gets stronger right after one occurs. Even though they can't really prove one ever happened).
Oops, can't get past 20,000 B.C. at current rate of magnetic decline, then reversing it, and going back in time. Funny how this chart also confirms the bible time-line of when we were created, and when the end of the earth will occur. Because by 10,000 A.D. there will not be enough of the magnetic field left to support life. Because the magnetic field protects our atmosphere from being strip away, when it gets to weak, our planet will become a waste land just like the moon. Science will deny this, even though there science methods of testing this actually confirm it.
Here's what the polar flip does to the time-line of the magnetic field:
The Polar Flip theory was thought up for the very reason of trying to disprove the scale you see here. Instead of allowing the magnetic field to continue to rise, evolutionists had to figure out a way to allow this same scale to flow like a wave (demonstrated by the blue line in pic). Which allows the magnetic field to always be just right for life. Why? Evolution needs a forever time-line for it to occur. Time is always the evolutionist excuse. And I have even had this quoted to me: Given enough time, anything can happen. This was used when there was no answer to the question I asked during a debate on evolution. Time is now the excuse for odds not allowing something to happen.
They could not deny that the magnetic field was getting weaker, which means it was stronger back in time. So they had to come up with an idea that allowed it to become stronger (going back in time), so that their old earth theory would still work, and fit the existing evidence. Now they claim that some planets switch poles, and also some moons. Being that this deals with instruments that only they have, they can control the information gathered from these instruments. Now, I know that a evolutionist reading this right now is thinking that I'm accusing science of fraud. But lets switch this around. What if only creationist had a device that allowed certain information to be obtained. And only they controlled it. Would you trust that information? I know they would not. So I don't from the other side as well. Why?
There is to much temptation to make the evidence fit the theory. Humans wanting to be right on every issue, falls upon both sides. So when one side has total control, I tend to not believe what I hear.
To sum it up:
The evidence of the magnetic field getting weaker came first. Then the laws of science were applied, and it was figured out that you could not go past 20,000 years without all life being killed by a very strong magnetic field. This in itself disproved the old earth theory. Old earthers scrambled to find a solution before their theory of evolution was found to not have enough time. Problem is, anyone that knows how to do scales and graphs can figure it out. The information for the graph is: Gravity has weakened by 6% in 150 years. Graph it out, backwards and you will see.
And because of the magnetic field getting weaker. The moon moves away from the earth 3 inches a year. At this rate, how did it stay in orbit for billions of years?
