The danger of Intelligent Design.
Is Intelligent design the answer to getting some sort of creation taught in our schools? Or is it an elaborate hoax to do something even worse?
The problem with ID creation is that it does not point at any specific creation being. It can be anyone from Satan to Allah. In fact, some scientist are starting to go in this direction because it allows them to admit to an intelligence without admitting to God. I believe through ID, universalism , and Scientology (links). That science will become a religion of sorts for those who wish to have something they can fill holes and gaps with, that persist to be in every theory. I believe that natural selection will turn into intelligent being that makes the selection. After all, natural selection does not apply to every animal as far as how it works. And science has come out with variations to natural selection which more or less proves the point. Trying to plug holes in a theory that has gaps as big as the Grand Canyon. A lot of these plugs for Evolution were introduced in the book called the Blind Watch Maker. Which I plan to read (so many books, so little time).
These ideas will be science's "way" of saying "God did it" without God (as to say ID did it instead). This is why they don't like us using the term a creator did it because they are moving into the direction of doing the same thing. For you can choose any intelligent being you want, except God. You could actually claim that Darwin did it, because he is considered an intelligent being by science. What does science have to say about this? I hear no complaints. And you know why? Because God is not a factor when Intelligent Design (ID) is used.
Islam and Intelligent Design.
Since 9-11, Islam had made a push to be taught in our schools. Some schools in California are already allowing Islam to be taught. Some are saying that this story is a hoax. Problem is, several news worthy sites are reporting this, and have sent their own people to investigate. World News Daily. Story two. Renew America. Islam Review . Islam has even come out with Allah creation Id videos. These are down loadable. And you will notice that the creator pushed in these tapes is Allah. And these tapes are also geared towards children. Which means they are curriculum ready.
Doing more harm than good.
When it comes to Intelligent Design, and Creation. Science does not fight Intelligent Design as hard as they do creation. And there is a reason for this. Intelligent Design has become the bridge between a type of creation and science. Those who want God on their own terms really want this bridge to happen. For the creationist (YEC), it allows God to be mocked in a way that it takes all that God is, and makes Him look no better than any man that walks the earth. How? Man becomes dictator of God's abilities through science. Every time science finds something new about origins, through Intelligent Design, God's creation will have to change to fit. If God is allowed at all. So Christians who buy into this, will have to leave their faith in the word of God at the door.
Attacks on the word of God just beginning.
Just about everywhere you go, there are new translations that are deemed as the new truth. Several myths have been thought up to discredit the old translations in several ways. And many Christians have bought into believing what they hear. What they don't know is that a lot of atheists have jumped on this boat and are pushing this big time. From debating Christians on their own forums, they have found a dividing force that has to do with these translations. They will often sign up as Christians to test ideas for sites that they will put up promoting these new translations. Why?
1) Keeping the body of Christ arguing against itself all the time, allows them to get away with more stuff. For while we are arguing, we are not bothering them.
2) A confused Christian is of no threat. If he or she cannot figure out what to believe, any argument that may come up is easily shot down.
3) Some new translations actually push the science point of view (OEC and Gap Theory) about creation.
4) It's not hard to create a fake Christian site as atheist have done, and still do. They just copy and paste a few things from a christian site, put it on theirs. Then mix their beliefs and agendas in with it. And most of these are evolutionists who have a real hate for God and all Christians.
