Water means life?
When science says: There's water on Mars. What are they implying? They are implying that there is life on Mars. Though water is essential for life, not all water will support life. Water that is full of toxic chemicals, with no way of natural filtration, will not support life.
Example:
1) Earth has just the right temptature to allow water to go through the stages of gas to liquid, and back to gas. This is not so on Mars.
2) Earth has just the right amount of barometric air pressure to allow rain clouds to form. Again, this is not so on Mars.
3) Earth is 3/4 covered with water on it's suface. Which is the correct amount of exposure for enough of it to be in our atmosphere as gas. Not so on Mars.
4) Earth has natural filters. The moon cause high and low tides which pull imputities from our rivers and streams. Water also seeps through the soil through several stages of sand which act as a filter that finely filters the water. Not so on Mars.
The water, and potential for life, is more towards the making the trip to mars, then actually having a chance to find life. So the more they push this life on mars thing, the more than likely we will go to mars.
