Interesting story on Satan's attack on me!
I knew God was calling me to do something. I did not know what it was though. But I have felt that putting up a web site with the intention that it was going be different than most and would minister to God's people. As well as those who were searching for truth. Visiting several forums, I began to see a need for something that was missing, or being made fun of in the word of God. I also felt that God was leading me in that direction. God's 6 day creation being made fun of on both Christian and non-Christian websites and forums. What was being said was more or less things that most knew nothing about. Mere opinions.
I started putting up this site August 15-03. After shutting down the computer and getting ready for bed. I realized that I had forgot to put a sinner's prayer on the website. So the next night I had made sure this was done.
The next day I went to work. Unknown to me Satan had a plan for what I had done (put up the web site and post the sinner's prayer) to try and scare me into taking down some things from my website. While driving to work it started storming really bad. Lightening was striking all around me while I was driving. I had never seen so many strikes that were so close to my car before. One was about ten feet in front of me which blinded me with it's light. Another struck a telephone pole which sent sparks flying all over my car.
Having read most of the bible and listened to thousands of sermons, I knew that God sometimes shows his displeasure in someone by using this exact method. So it started going through my mind. What is God mad at me for doing? I knew that it must be something that I put on the web, but what is it? I could not be sure what it would be so I figured God would let me know and I would remove it. Then just today (which is one day after this all happened) it came to me what was going on. You see by me posting the sinners prayer on the web, I have become a real threat to Satan. So Satan showed me his displeasure in what I had done. But like most of you I asked myself: How could Satan control lightening? Then I remembered what happened in the book of JOB. Satan killed Job's cattle with lightening! But Satan could not kill Job because he did not have permission to from God! So Satan was trying to let me know he was mad at what I had done, but because of God's protection he could not do what he really wanted to which was to kill me!
Isn't God great! No matter how mad Satan gets, he can do us no harm as long as the hand of God's protection is over us!

Dear heavenly Father, I stand before YOU Lord in all my imperfections, and humbly stand before YOU in all YOUR holiness and ask in Jesus name for this God given ministry to prosper in glorifying YOU Father. In Jesus name I ask that a hedge of protection be placed around this ministry as it grows in bringing lost souls to YOUR love, forgiveness, and Truth of YOUR Word Lord, and the greatest gift of all....YOUR blessed life of salvation. Lord I ask in Jesus name for YOUR wisdom to fall upon Issac and YOU give him the wisdom to use it wisely, yet be gentle as a dove. I ask that YOU sharpen his sword against the enemy, and that YOU keep Issac alert to his motives to destroy everything that gives YOU glory and honor. I ask that Father YOU continue to keep YOUR hand of protection upon him as he walks in YOUR will to be done. Bless him Lord in his obedience to YOU, and YOU alone. Lead him and guide him in all that he does, so that he may glorify YOUR name for all to see. Let this site be a place of refuge for the lost, and sanctuary for YOUR children in need of spiritual food. Bless all those who visit this site, and bless all seeds that are planted and let them be watered by the living waters, and take root for YOUR glory Father. I humbly stand before YOU Father in faith, and ask in Jesus name all that I've prayed for.....Amen.

An update: Well it was the Devil. God has been blessing me for not caving in with fear and waiting on guidance from the holy spirit instead. The Devil is an poor imitator of God's divine ways. Like Job, I was being tested (I hope never to the point Job was tested, that would be to much to bear). How I reacted would determine what promise or provision I would receive from God as said in his word. When we strive to become closer to God, there will always be tests. Some of you are being tested right now, And how you react will determine whether you will get the promise or provision as mentioned in God's word. These tests are known as God's Promise, problem and provision. You will always have to go through these to get to what God's will is for your life.
So if your stepping out to do God's work, be prepared for the test (problem) to get to the provision or promise in God's word. Remember, it's how you react (a spirit or flesh reaction) in your problem that will determine this.
Example: First I stepped out and put up a Christian web site. So I was tested (the lightening) by the Devil. If I had reacted in fear as Satan would have liked (taking down some pages off my website because I thought God was mad at me and not waiting for confirmation from the holy spirit on this), then I would not have past the test, and be building this website with a feeling of guidance from the holy spirit(God's promise or provision). So that is what I had to go through to get where I'm at. I hope this helps someone who maybe stuck in a problem (test) and not know what's going on. And to help someone who wants to step out in faith to know what to expect.
