OEC stands for: Old Earth Creation. These are people who believe in God, but don't believe in Genesis 1. They will tell you it's a myth, which is just a polite way of calling God a liar. They believe everything was created according to how science says, except evolution. That God made the big bang, and waited several billions of years, then created animal life. Then a few more million years past and God created man. And that the word day (Yom) is just a passage of time. And the 6 days of creation means billions of years.

Going from YEC to OEC is the first step to denying God through science. Those who fall for this trap are making science the truth meter for God. Can man measure God's truth, or even test it? God cannot lie, but excuses are used to say that He does. And most cannot be proven. One of the main excuses is that man wrote God's word so it is fallible, because man is fallible.... Well, they can conceive what ever excuse they like to bring God down to the level of man. But when it comes to the actual throne judgement, I very seriously doubt that same excuse will be used. Because, saying that man cannot write the word of God to be true, is also saying that God does not have the power to keep His word true. So is God that weak? A God who created all things, but yet cannot do the one simple thing so His people won't be deceived.

A known deception....

Allowing yourself to be deceived, is different from actually being deceived. A known deception is a known lie. And those who do this, and convince others are in danger of a curse that God has for those who would do this. It's called being given up to a reprobate mind. What is a reprobate? Someone who has lost the ability to tell between a lie and actual truth. This is why so many seem to not understand creation. When the truth us presented to them, they are blinded from ever seeing it. To debate a reprobate, is like banging your head against a wall because someone told you it felt good, only to find out it don't.

OEC used to deceive others....

Atheist like to present themselves as something they are not. They like to go to forums and say they are OEC so they can promote their scientific ideas. Through doing this they will claim that the YEC believer is the problem, and is not in the main flow of how most Christians believe. They will imply that all YEC are the odd ones out. And that all their beliefs have been debunked. This is all done to discredit what they choose not to believe because their view is the only view. And it is easier for them to act halfway to being something, like a theory being true, and pull you over to their way of thinking. And when caught doing this, their excuse? If I signed up as an atheist, I would have been banned a long time ago. Yep, and I wonder why? So evil hide behind good so evil can make it's point known. God's word says: Satan is an angel of light.

In God's word, light is a representation of what is good, holy, and pure. When spiritual things are being spoke of. So if Satan can hide behind the light, then he is doing exactly what the atheist are doing to deceive all believers to slowly deconvert them from God. Can a believer actually be deconverted?

James 5:19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; 20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

Osas belief paves the way to this deception.....

What is OSAS? Once saved always saved . When this type of security is in place, in the believers mind. He loses all fear of doing anything wrong. How? When doing the wrong thing no longer holds judgement, why fear it? Why even obey what God has told us to do? Why even fear straying from the narrow path? So upon this fear being gone, the believer looks at other options that are outside the word of God. And this is the reason that a believer would even conceive calling any part of the word of God a myth. Because their salvation is secure, through this doctrine, so why not? So through OSAS, a believer is allowed to become part of the main stream view. And feel they have done the right thing. Not even realizing they have just made the first step to being deconverted from God by a plan that was devised by Satan himself. OEC and OSAS combined are a slow death to the faith of every believer. So slow, it is undetectable. And is the reason so many have fallen prey to it, and fall from grace.
